The score was tied at 1-1, until the Blue Jays took advantage of some mistakes and scored some runs to break the game open for them and not look back.&nbsp; Baker scored from a lead off double and an RBI by Rippee.&nbsp; ">In the first game things started out slow for the first 3 innings.&nbsp; The score was tied at 1-1, until the Blue Jays took advantage of some mistakes and scored some runs to break the game open for them and not look back.&nbsp; Baker scored from a lead off double and an RBI by Rippee.&nbsp; Rippee and Turner also scored by RBI's from John Lehman and Baker.&nbsp; Cameron Rippee was awarded the Player of the Game honors by going 2-3 with a single, double, walk, run, and a RBI.<br /><br />The second game started out the&nbsp;similar to&nbsp;the first with the Blue Jays up by 2 through the 5th and then they scored another 3 to be up 5-1.&nbsp; Unfortunately the Blue Jays were too much for the&nbsp;Braves and took the day by sweeping the Braves two games to none.&nbsp; Baker scored the one run by a hit by pitch and was brought in by Cox's RBI.&nbsp; Jesse Lehman threw a great game by only giving up 6 hits, 2 walks, 4 earned runs, with 9 strike outs.&nbsp; Jesse Lehman earned Player of the Game honors by pitching a great game and going 2-2 with 2 singles and a walk.&nbsp; Baker and Lee(Dodgers) put up a fight and kept each team from putting up&nbsp;a lot of runs.&nbsp; In the second inning with a runner on 1st and thrid the braves pulled off a crazy triple play.&nbsp; Line drive to stanifer at short (1), throw to Cox at first(2), then Cox to Beck at third who&nbsp;throws to Turner at home to tag the&n [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<div  class="paragraph" style=" text-align: left; In the 5th Lehman got on and Baker hit a 2 out triple to score Lehman and get the first and only run for the Braves.&nbsp; Dodgers took the first game 7-1.&nbsp; Chris Baker recieved Player of the Game honors by going 2-3 with a single, triple, and&nbsp;RBI.<br /><br />The second game wasn't much better as&nbsp;the temp. outside got&nbsp;hotter so did the Dodgers.&nbsp; Dodgers came out in the 1st to score&nbsp;one.&nbsp; The Braves came back by back to back singles by Baker and Colby who scored by a strong single from Cox to put the Braves on top.&nbsp; However, that lead soon left as the&nbsp;Dodgers too over and scored 14 in the final 4 innings to win 16-2.&nbsp; Final score was 14-13 Braves Win.&nbsp; Chad&nbsp;Berland recieved&nbsp;the Player of the Game honors for his great pitching and help on offense.<BR><SPAN></SPAN><BR>With an exciting finish to Game 1 there were high hopes for the second game to be just as intense.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Braves started off with a quick 2 runs in the 1st by Colby and Stanifer.&nbsp; The Rockies scored a run or two through out 6 innings to&nbsp;give them 5 runs for the&nbsp;game.&nbsp; Lehman pitched a strong 6 innings&nbsp;giving up 5 runs, 2 earned, 7 hits, 1 walk, and struck out 9.&nbsp; Baker&nbsp;came in for the final inning to finish the game off by giving up no runs, 1 hit, and 1 hit batter.&nbsp; The Braves offense&nbsp;was very strong by scoring 11 runs in&nbsp;game&nbsp;2 by Colby, Stanifer, Cox, Lehman, Baker, and Beck.&nbsp; Stanifer had 2 hits, 1 run, 1 RBI, and 2 doubles.&nbsp; Lehman had 1 hit, 1 run, 2 RBI's, and&nbsp;a double.&nbsp; Once again though Cox came through big with 2 hits, 1 run,&nbsp;2 RBI's, and a triple.&nbsp; With the Braves on top for the entire game, it all came down to the last inning.&nbsp; The Royals pulled a ralley together and got 8 runs in the 7th to seal the game 11-10.&nbsp; Notable performances by Greg Stanifer going 2-4 with a double,&nbsp;1 stolen base&nbsp;and bringing in 5 RBI's while scoring twice himself.&nbsp; Also Chris Baker hit a double, brought in 2 RBI's and scored twice.&nbsp; Chad, Sean, Damion, and Jon also scored for the Braves.&nbsp; Greg Stanifer was awarded Player of the Game.<br /><br /> With the first game out of the was the Braves were looking for payback to the rough first game.&nbsp; The Braves took an early lead like they do every game, however the Royals came out even stronger in the 4th to score 7 runs.&nbsp; That was all they needed to take the 6-12 victory and win the second game.&nbsp; Overall it was a rough day of baseball for both teams.&nbsp; Notable performances were once again by Greg Stanifer going 3-4 with 2 RBI's and the teams 2nd Home Run of the season and first for him.&nbsp;
