In the first of two games today the Braves started out strong by scoring a run in the first inning by Chris Baker.  with good defense and solid pitching the score was still 1-0 until the 5th inning when the Braves took advantage of some pitching mustakes and scored 5 runs.  Thats all it took to take the first game win.  Final score was 6-1 Braves win.  Chad Berland pitched an amazing game by having a no-hitter for 5 innings and ended the game with only 4 hits and 1 run given up and pitched the teams first full game.  Berland was awarded player of the game honors.

The second game was not as glamorous for the Braves as the first.  With some errors and lack of hitting it was a tougher game than wanted.  The Blue Jays started out by scoring 3 runs in 5 innings off of Chris Baker's pitching.  Josh Dawley came in and gave up 7 runs in the 6th.  The braves were shut down by the pitching of the Blue Jays.  Final score was 10-0 Blue Jays.  Justin Beck went 1-1, walk and was awarded Player of the Game honors.
