Braves vs Royals 06/16/2009
 

First game of the day started out on top fro the Braves with good hitting and solid defense.  With the Braves on top for the entire game, it all came down to the last inning.  The Royals pulled a ralley together and got 8 runs in the 7th to seal the game 11-10.  Notable performances by Greg Stanifer going 2-4 with a double, 1 stolen base and bringing in 5 RBI's while scoring twice himself.  Also Chris Baker hit a double, brought in 2 RBI's and scored twice.  Chad, Sean, Damion, and Jon also scored for the Braves.  Greg Stanifer was awarded Player of the Game.

With the first game out of the was the Braves were looking for payback to the rough first game.  The Braves took an early lead like they do every game, however the Royals came out even stronger in the 4th to score 7 runs.  That was all they needed to take the 6-12 victory and win the second game.  Overall it was a rough day of baseball for both teams.  Notable performances were once again by Greg Stanifer going 3-4 with 2 RBI's and the teams 2nd Home Run of the season and first for him.  Lane Salsbury hit the teams first Home Run of the season and gaining 2 RBI's with him scoring once.  Greg Stanifer was awarded Player of the Game agian for the day.
