Braves vs Padres 07/20/2009
 

In game one the Braves started off slow by giving up 4 runs in the first 3 inning under Baker's pitching.  The braves got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the 3rd by a hit by Alvarado, double by Lehman, and a sac hity by Baker to score Alvarado.  In the 4th the Padres scored 6 to expand their lead.  However the Braves came back by scoring 5 of their own in the 5th inning by Stanifer, Salsbury, Alvarado, Lehman, and Turner.  Stanifer shut them out in the 5th-7th innings but the damage was dont and the Padres came away with the win 10-6.  Damion Cox was awarded the Player of the Game honors with 2 hits, double, 3 RBI's, and a stolen base.

Game two started off more on the Braves side by taking the lead 3-2 through the 4th and then in the 5th the Padres came out with a 3 run inning.  Stanifer, Cox, and Colby scored the Braves 3 runs but that was it for the Braves as they fell short to the Padres 5-3.  Alvarado and Lehman earned and RBI each.  Damion Cox again recieved the Player of the Game honors by going 2-2 with a SAC, RBI, and a run.
